# Nervly

## Channel architecture

Nervly's edge gateway authenticates the call, enforces rate limits and idempotency, then publishes the event to NATS JetStream on a priority lane (`critical` for CRITICAL/HIGH, `bulk` for NORMAL/LOW). Workers select the channel from the recipient's reachable contact details and the workspace's channel priority, apply subscriber preferences, NCC 2442 DND screening and per-provider circuit breakers, then dispatch. A failing provider fails over to its partner without the caller doing anything, and delivery outcomes return as normalised receipts.
